1. About these Terms
These Terms govern use of Hot Dogs Studio games, demos and related services that link to this page. Hot Dogs Studio is the developer brand identified in the relevant game or store listing. For support or questions, contact [email protected] and name the game.
By starting or using a covered game, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If explicit acceptance is required, we will request it. If you do not agree, do not use that game. Separate terms supplied with a particular game or by its storefront also apply; game-specific terms prevail for that game where they conflict with this page. These Terms do not retroactively replace previously agreed terms.
2. Permission to play and ownership
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and play the game for lawful, non-commercial entertainment through an authorised source, subject to these Terms and the relevant storefront licence. This is a licence, not a transfer of ownership. We or our licensors retain rights in the games, code, art, audio and branding. You may share your own gameplay screenshots and videos, including monetised commentary, provided you do not imply our endorsement or redistribute the game or its assets.
3. Responsible use
Do not use a game to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, exploit a service to harm others, or bypass purchase or access controls. Do not resell or distribute our game files or assets without permission. Restrictions on modification or reverse engineering do not limit activities expressly permitted by applicable law. Where a game supports communication or shared content, do not harass people or post unlawful content.
4. Age and parental permission
Follow the game's store age rating and any stated age restrictions. If you cannot legally agree to these Terms yourself, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree where applicable. This does not replace any separate parental permission required for personal-data processing or purchases.
5. Purchases and optional features
Not all games offer purchases, advertising, accounts, online play or cloud saves. A game's listing and in-game information describe its available features. Where purchases exist, the price and content shown at checkout and the storefront's payment and refund procedures apply, together with your statutory consumer rights. Virtual items have no cash value and are not redeemable for money unless a game expressly states otherwise and applicable law permits it.
6. Saves, updates and availability
Local saves can be lost when you delete app data, uninstall the game or change devices. Do not assume cloud backup is available unless the game explicitly offers it. We may release updates, fix bugs and adjust gameplay or online features. We will provide notices, remedies and consent requests where required by law, including for material changes to paid digital content. We do not promise uninterrupted online availability or indefinite support.
7. Privacy and optional measurement
Data practices are described in the applicable Privacy Policy and any game-specific notices. Agreeing to these Terms, starting a game or accepting a privacy notice is not consent to optional analytics or advertising measurement. Where consent is required, collection begins only after the separate choice. You can change the available choices in the game's Settings. Declining optional measurement does not prevent play.
8. Consumer rights and responsibility
We aim to provide games that work as described. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory rights relating to digital content, refunds, conformity, safety or access to courts. Any exclusions or limits apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law; we do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Storefront rights and the mandatory law protecting you remain applicable.
9. Ending use and service restrictions
You may stop using and uninstall a game at any time, subject to any separate purchase rights. Where a game provides online services, we may restrict access for material misuse, security issues or unlawful activity, subject to applicable notice and appeal rights. These Terms do not authorise us to erase local progress or terminate paid rights arbitrarily.
10. Changes and contact
We may add game-specific sections and update these Terms. We will publish the revision date and notify users of material changes where required. Changes are not retroactive, and we will seek renewed acceptance where required.
